We talk alot about WoodStone® Nest Boxes, but what on earth does it mean?
We hold our hands up, WoodStone® nest boxes are not as glamorous looking as some of our other ranges, but they're made from a very cool material which is pretty innovative.

The durable material is not only weatherproof, but also helps maintain a stable temperature inside the nest box. This is a huge help for birds who are incubating in breeding season, yet also provides a safe home in the cold winter months. Some evidence even suggests that birds start nesting earlier in WoodStone® nest boxes, compared to conventional nest boxes, increasing their chances of having a second brood.
Weatherproof
The material it's made of is a mixture of concrete and wood chippings. This bonds together to create a super strong, durable material that is able to withstand the highs and lows of the seasons.
Better Protection
These nest boxes have a thick skin, meaning predators and larger birds have a much harder time getting inside. A safer home means a happier one!
